Graeme Heckenberg
Principal Solicitor – Accredited Mediator NMAS
Graeme has extensive legal and commercial experience, with particular expertise in the law of wills, probate and administration, inheritance law, deceased estate litigation and settling disputes.
Graeme graduated from UNSW with Honours and is admitted to the High Court of Australia and the Supreme Court of NSW. In addition to being appointed a Notary Public he is an accredited mediator and was an Arbitrator of the District Court and Local Courts of NSW.
Graeme is a founding member of the City of Sydney Law Society and a member of the Law Society of New South Wales and regularly appears in the Supreme Court of NSW in contested wills and estate cases.
Graeme leads the team at Heckenberg Lawyers. He has over 25 years’ experience in representing estates and advising claimants. He provides unbiased, cost-effective and practical advice and achieves the best possible outcome for his clients.
Graeme is also the Principal Lawyer for the practice Northern Beaches Lawyers, which was specifically opened to service the needs of the residents of the Northern Beaches and the peninsula – Northern Beaches Lawyers
Michael Majstorovic
Solicitor
Michael joined our firm as a law clerk, graduated from UTS with a Bachelor of Laws, and is admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW.
He has a high level of experience in drafting wills, power of attorney documents and assisting executors with probate and administering deceased estates.
In addition, Michael has developed the forensic skills required to conduct Family Provision litigation. He has appeared at mediations and instructed Senior Counsel in complex court cases.
Michael is dedicated to providing the best advice to his clients and achieving the best outcomes for them.
Klia Zuka
Solicitor
Klia joined the team in 2022. She graduated from UNSW with degrees in Law and Arts. Klia advises on all matters relating to family inheritance, Probate and estate management, drafting wills, powers of attorney, and enduring guardian documents.
She is experienced in assisting clients with Family Provision Claims and has facilitated substantial settlements for her clients. Klia draws on her comprehensive experience in providing advice. She listens to her client’s needs and endeavours to deliver outstanding results.
Maneka Lovette
Senior Law Clerk
Maneka joined the team at Heckenberg Lawyers in 2022. Maneka has several years of experience in the area of wills and succession law. She is a final year law student at the University of Western Sydney
Maneka has a keen interest in will disputes, probate and administration, estate distribution and litigation and intends to continue to practice in this area of the Law when she is admitted as a solicitor.
Maneka is also a law clerk for the practice Northern Beaches Lawyers, which specifically services the legal needs of residents of the Northern Beaches and the peninsula.
Isabel Ayoub
Law Clerk
Isabel is studying a double degree in Bachelor of Laws and Arts, majoring in Sociology at Australian Catholic University.
Her capable skills, experience in customer service and her legal studies enable her to provide valuable assistance to our clients. She is a dedicated individual with a commitment to helping others as demonstrated in her pro bono work.
Isabel works with the principal solicitor and solicitors in the Administration of Estates, Estate Planning, Probate and litigation support.
