Graeme Heckenberg
Special Counsel – Accredited Mediator NMAS
Graeme has extensive legal and commercial experience, with particular expertise in the law of wills, probate and administration, inheritance law, deceased estate litigation and settling disputes.
Graeme graduated from UNSW with Honours and is admitted to the High Court of Australia and the Supreme Court of NSW. In addition to being appointed a Notary Public he is an accredited mediator and was an Arbitrator of the District Court and Local Courts of NSW.
Graeme is a founding member of the City of Sydney Law Society and a member of the Law Society of New South Wales and regularly appears in the Supreme Court of NSW in contested wills and estate cases.
Graeme leads the team at Heckenberg Lawyers. He has over 25 years’ experience in representing estates and advising claimants. He provides unbiased, cost-effective and practical advice and achieves the best possible outcome for his clients.
Michael Majstorovic
Solicitor
Michael joined our firm as a law clerk, graduated from UTS with a Bachelor of Laws, and is admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW.
He has a high level of experience in drafting wills, power of attorney documents and assisting executors with probate and administering deceased estates.
In addition, Michael has developed the forensic skills required to conduct Family Provision litigation. He has appeared at mediations and instructed Senior Counsel in complex court cases.
Michael is dedicated to providing the best advice to his clients and achieving the best outcomes for them.
Maneka Lovette
Solicitor – Wills, Estates and Commercial Law
Maneka Joined the team in 2022. She has a keen interest in will disputes, probate and administration, estate distribution, and litigation and intends to continue to refine her expertise in this area of the law.
Maneka graduated from Western Sydney University with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Business.
She has also completed a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice. Maneka is admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and is a member of the Law Society of New South Wales.
Graeme is also special counsel for the law firm Heckenberg Lawyers which is centrally based in the heart of the city of Sydney.
